• Roger Kugel's Report -- This is the report that the Chief Reader, Roger Kugel, gave at the APAC in Philadelphia.  It goes through the 2014 AP FRQ Exam question by question stating the intent of the question, the results (graphs), common errors by students and what we, as teachers, can do to improve performance on future exams.
• Electron Orbital Filling Animation -- John Gelder, Oklahoma State University, has an animation that shows how the orbitals change energy as the number of protons in the nucleus changes.  It shows why the "exceptions" take place.  This animation requires that you have Adobe Shockwave installed on your computer.
• Donors Choose -- This is a possible funding source.  You set up a project page and let others know what you are asking for.  It would be especially appropriate for some science equipment such as probeware that is a one time expense.
• American Chemical Society-Hach High School Chemistry Grant -- The ACS has grants up to $1,500.  This grant funds ideas that enhance learning and the wonders of chemistry.  This can be used for lab equipment, supplies, instructional materials, professional development, or events.  Deadline is April 1.  You must be a High School Chemistry Teacher.
• Jing and Screencast-O-Matic -- Two free ways to do screencasts.
• Great Animations and Simulations -- These are from Iowa State and were done by Tom Greenbowe and his colleagues.  Many of these simulations are used by the AP Lab Manual as the "Exploration" phase of a guided-inquiry lab.
• Types of Substances Lab -- This is the lab described by Lisa Dickens in which she gives students various types of compounds (listed at the end of the document). Students perform several easy tests on the substances to get clues about their properties and identities.
